[ita] I Playload nascono nel Gennaio 2008 da un'idea di Pezzuto David e De Francesco Dario. L'intento iniziale è stato quello di proporre sonorità e brani propri che balzano nel funk, nel grunge, nel pop, nel blues, nell’acustic sound, per poi sfociare in un rock d’impatto, impulsivo e di chiaro stampo identificativo.L’intento di proporre un rock indipendente porta il quartetto a scegliere PLAYLOAD come nome rappresentativo: letteralmente “gioco carico”, “caricamento del gioco”, questo nome appare particolarmente adatto nel designare la band, in quanto proprio in esso si può cogliere il connubio tra il rock e la vera essenza di questi artisti: la scelta di mettere in gioco la propria espressione artistica trasmettendola sotto forma di “gioco sonoro”.
